Research shows that community cats in managed colonies are often just as healthy as indoor pets. Once they are fixed, everything improves, less roaming, less fighting, better overall health, and colonies naturally stabilize over time.

BRAWL is the recipient of a grant from United Spay Alliance to offer free spay/neuter services to community cats in Patrick County. Cats selected for this program will receive a spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, ear-tip, and a one-month flea treatment at no cost to the caretaker. Note: you must be willing to bring the cat in a trap or carrier to Rotary Field in Stuart on the designated surgery day.
We want to provide Kongs to entertain the dogs
in the kennels while they wait for a forever home.
We fill them with smooth Peanut Butter. If you would like to donate Peanut Butter for the dogs it should be smooth not chunky,
and must not contain Xylitol as that is toxic for dogs, the brand does not matter. Click here for more info on how to donate.

Notes: Please do not forget about long-time residents Harper and Halo. They do not need to be adopted together. They were let down by the owners once and now need a soft place to land. We know this is a big ask, but Halo (brown Lab mix) and Harper (red-ticked Hound mix) would love someone to spring them from the shelter together. They are both approximately 2 years old and found themselves here after their owner lost her housing. Halo is a bit shy and reserved, but comes out of her shell when she is with Harper.
