Animal Shelter is at max capacity due to receiving over 16 owner surrenders in one week. This means dogs that have been here the longest are not safe. Adopt or foster a dog!
FREE SERVICES FOR COMMUNITY CATS IN PATRICK COUNTY.
For cats born outdoors, the outside world is not something to escape, it is home.
Research shows that community cats in managed colonies are often just as healthy as indoor pets. Once they are fixed, everything improves, less roaming, less fighting, better overall health, and colonies naturally stabilize over time.
Are you feeding outside cats and need help preventing unwanted litters of kittens?
BRAWL is the recipient of a grant from United Spay Alliance to offer free spay/neuter services to community cats in Patrick County. Cats selected for this program will receive a spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, ear-tip, and a one-month flea treatment at no cost to the caretaker. If you are interested in this service, please complete the spay/neuter inquiry form by clicking here and someone will contact you. Note: you must be willing to bring the cat in a trap or carrier to Rotary Field in Stuart on the designated surgery day.
We want to provide Kongs to entertain the dogs
in the kennels while they wait for a forever home.
We fill them with smooth Peanut Butter. If you would like to donate Peanut Butter for the dogs it should be smooth not chunky,
and must not contain Xylitol as that is toxic for dogs, the brand does not matter. Click here for more info on how to donate.

Adoption of cats is open to residents of Carroll, Patrick, Floyd, Franklin and Henry County, VA cats that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to anyone with an approved application including out of state residents.

Cats needing homes at Clover Cat Rescue, Stuart, VA
Clover Cat Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue organization based in Patrick County, VA. Clover Cat Rescue saves cats from euthanasia at the local pound or takes them out of equally life-threatening circumstances. Cats are housed in our shelter until a forever-home is found.
